One of the producers, Jen Winders, used to work for us on the farm, way back in 2004. As a child, Jen had to endure injections of bee parts to help her overcome severe allergies and was deathly afraid ob bees. But one of her duties were to be able to take care of our bees while we were gone, so we totally encased her here in a zipped in beesuit and took her out to the beeyard. I thought she was going to faint that first day, the sound from the hives almost overwhelmed here. But soon she got inquistive, asking questions, getting excited and really into it.
Jen moved on after a few years, got married, had a baby. She moved into town and we stayed in touch. One day we get a phone care from her, she had gotten into film producing and wanted to do a documentary on bees and the best place to start was our farm.
This amazing film was the result.
